Farnham Homemakers voted Surrey Air Ambulance as its nominated charity for the year 2007. A magnificent £1500 was made from various events throughout 2007 including a coffee morning at the President, Lady Beryl Tindle’s house, a garden party, BBQ and an auction at the Harvest Supper Meeting in September.

At the Farnham Homemakers AGM in January 2008, Edwina Hunter received the cheque from the groups President, Lady Beryl Tindle. ‘It gave us great pleasure to hand this cheque over to Julie Jenkinson, Surrey County Fundraiser’ said President, Lady Beryl Tindle on February 1^st 2008.
